What else is China buying with their investment in US bonds, etc.? Could this be one of a number of payoffs for the Chinese not dumping dollars, or whatever other nifty tricks they might play?
I think the US has been playing a dangerous game with the PRC. We have seen some results for it, but we have also paid a heavy price, and our allies like Taiwan possibly even heavier. Has it been worth it?
