Isn't higher ed in enough trouble already?  

President Barack Obama unveiled a sweeping new plan for rating colleges based in part on affordability, with the goal of eventually linking those ratings to federal financial aid awards.

Everything he touches turns to rubbish.  What makes you think this will be any different?  I will bet you anything that this is just going to make things worse.
