LOL: Christoph Waltz on the Differences Between Germans and Austrians
"Like the difference between a battleship and a waltz."
Oscar-winning actor Waltz is, of course, Austrian (Viennese). He's hilarious. Oh, and if you haven't seen him in "Inglourious Basterds," you really must! He is absolutely fantastic.
That's OUTRAGEOUS. We have plenty of humor. Whole subway cars of humor. Case in point: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/arts-post/post/berlin-laughter-project-gets-entire-subway-car-giggling-whats-so-funny/2011/12/16/gIQAyhDbyO_blog.html?tid=sm_twitter_postlocal
I love this actor. And I love the fact that there are no actual enraged Germans defending their non-existent image. As a German, I often feel ashamed after watching this and laughing my socks off, then reading about how humorous we actually are and our seriousness is all a lie made up by the fiendish American and ... gosh, point proven. Very nice clip, thanks for sharing it. -Daniel
