I notice a decline in grades at the right side of the graph. I assume that's the Minerva Effect of MM handing out grades to her undergrads in recent history! :-)

I didn't expect private schools to lead the charge in grade inflation. I wonder what happened around 1955 and 1975.The commentary at gradeinflation.com is excellent.
