Since today is the last day of Pope Benedict XVI's pontificate, it seems a good a time as any to revisit the process of how popes are chosen, as now all speculation turns to who will be his successor.

Very educational. If this whole teaching thing doesn't work out, I thought I'd try it. However, apparently you have to be Catholic; who knew? (Certainly no one who listens to the lefty media go on and on ad nauseam about what beliefs the next pope should have.)
