Quote of the Day: G.K. Chesterton on History and Politicians

So often I am ranting about politicians' penchants to engage in the mangling of history. Check out this great observation by Chesterton:

"In most modern politics, unfortunately, it may truly be said that those who make history never know history."

Alas, too true.
