North Korea Launches Rocket; UN Chokes (Again)

Seriously, did I need a reminder that the UN is a feckless organization that's useless at best and harmful at worst?

Now, in this mess, how would you like to be democratic Japan or South Korea? That North Korean rocket flew over Japan.

We're living in a dangerous world that has nutty autocrats possessing powerful weapons or trying to acquire unspeakably destuctive capability (*cough* Iran! *cough*). I am completely NOT satisfied with the hand-wringing uselessness of "enlightened" diplo-philiac folk who just want to talk as an end in itself. I much prefer Dignified Rant's idea of literally talking Pyongyang to death. There's a difference!
