Snowmageddon Is Beginning!
OH BOY. Take a look at this satellite image! Credit and info: "This visible image was captured by the GOES-13 satellite and shows the low pressure area stretching from the Colorado Rockies and Texas east to New England. The image shows the storm on Feb. 1 at 1401 UTC (9:01 a.m. EST) by the NASA GOES Project, located at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. Well, it's now the Great Groundhog Day Blizzard of 2011 here in Nerdworld. Snow is hurtling out of the gray skies. Everything is shut down. Nobody is on the roads except for a few intrepid snowplows. It's a day for staying indoors and working on papers and research and watching movies and baking cookies. UPDATE: And blogging about foreign policy.
Baby, it's cold outside.
