That they think the accent is more representative of another country just goes to show they don't realize they are being made fun of. It isn't intended to be an accurate representation of Swedish people lol.

I like the international jocularity as long as people understand it's a joke. People have to know that Canadians don't really begin the day with a shot of maple syrup.

New Zealand seems to be embracing their reputation as a home for Hobbits judging by there tourism ads but it would be foolish to ask a kiwi in a bar where the hobbits are at or if kiwi all have hairy feet. They don't like it.
