It is ADORABLE, though too expensive for a campus nerd. I've always thought it'd be fun to drive a MINI Cooper, even if I'm not using it to steal gold bricks.
Both cars have about the excitement of watching paint dry. The Electric Mini is timed at 9.2 0-6mph while the regular one goes 8.1 in 0-60mph. No back seat, cost $5,000 more and weighs 700 lbs more than the Mini Cooper. Plus it's only available as a lease in NY, Chicago and LA for the first one or two years and production is limited to 500. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of its efficacy or reliability.
