Nerd News: Obama Calls for More College Graduates

More from the Edu-crat-in-Chief.  Well, OK, but this is going to end up like the whole "we need more homeowners" idea?  We all know how THAT ended.  Blurb:
“Over a third of America’s college students, and over half our minority students, don’t earn a degree, even after six years,” Mr. Obama told a an audience of cheering students at the University of Texas here. "So we don’t just need to open the doors of college to more Americans. We need to make sure they stick with it through graduation. That is critical."
And just how much more college loan debt is this going to entail, people?  And how much more government interference with Sallie Mae and Lord knows what else?  And what jobs are these college grads going to have?  YOU WANT SOME FRIES WITH THAT?  Do I have to tell you again that merely having a debt-ridden college degree is not a magic fix?  That it might make things worse?  READ THIS, PLEASE.  Oh, and this too.  It's time for edu-crats versus edupunks.

UPDATE: Even the Obamaphiliac news outlet MSNBC asks, "Is it worth it to go to college?"  Heh.  OK, so I use the term "news outlet" very loosely.
