World Cup Obsession: North Korean Fans

The North Koreans have gone home, but take a look at this fascinating article about the North Korean fans who actually weren't paid Chinese actors.  The sub-headline distills the plight of these (and, really, just about all) North Koreans into 1 line: "They say only what they're told to say."  I absolutely hate what Kim has done to his own country and countrymen.  But that's totalitarian Communism for you.  It is utterly textbook.
