Another Thought on November 4's Historic Event

Via Power Line comes this assessment:

On November 4, 2008, an immensely talented man with quite an interesting past gained the most important office in his sprawling, divided melting-pot of a nation. Most people supported his ascension and many viewed him as almost messianic. Yet there were also many skeptics. They worried about a past that included highly questionable associations and drug use. They also wondered whether he could translate his silky smooth skills into quality leadership, especially given his lack of serious experience in an administrative capacity.

On November 4, 2008, Diego Maradona became the coach of Argentina's national soccer team.

Yes, indeed. Maradona's the new coach. This should be interesting, soccer fans!
