Idiotic Taiwan Reporting of the Day: Ma the Leader of a "Chinese Territory"

The international media's mangling of Taiwan coverage continues apace. All you need to do is look at this news article's description of Ma:
. . . he swept to victory in March, becoming only the third popularly elected leader of a Chinese territory.
Say WHAT? Is Ma the leader of a mere subordinate "Chinese territory" or the lawfully, democratically elected president of a sovereign nation? Well, ANSWER ME, DANG IT! A "Chinese territory," indeed! You mean like Hong Kong? Tibet? *snarl*

And this stupid "reporting" is in the Times of London, for cryin' out loud. I expected better from those folks. I'm too busy right now to rant, but I'll let you use your imagination. WWMMD? What Would Mad Minerva Do?

Of course, the rampant stupidity of the news piece may be matched by Ma's latest example of non-asserting, non-defending Taiwan's sovereignty. Pffffft.
