HIDE YOUR IPODS AND COMPUTERS!
This sounds like the plot to a really silly sci-fi/horror flick, but apparently it's not. I'll have to call up my sources on the ground in the affected area and ask! Unless, of course, the ants have already arrived and eaten all the poor friends' cellphones and computers!
EVERYBODY PANIC!
