Nerd Notes: Thoughts on Education Reform -- Certifications, Not Degrees?

Here is an interesting piece that will whip entrenched old-school edu-crats into a froth of rage. I don't agree with everything that the writer says, but he certainly has a point when he says that the current system has plenty of problems.

I'm just not convinced that more standardized testing is the way to go, though! To cannibalize an old Latin phrase, who tests the testmakers?
