Nerd News: 90-Year-Old Woman Earns Master's Degree

Congratulations to Roslyn Klein, who at age 90 has completed her master's degree! She now has a master's in science with a specialty in counseling.

You will perhaps remember an earlier post on Cambridge's 91-year-old brand-new PhD, Michael Cobb.

Kudos indeed on these folks who have clearly taken the current edu-babble terms "continuing education" and "lifelong learning" seriously.

Here's a related quote from the ancient Athenian leader (and fan of education) Solon, who once said, "I grow old ever learning many things." Heck, I'd like THAT on my epitaph.
